Feudo Maccari is a winery founded in 2000 in the district of the same name. Antonio Moretti Cuseri assembled the property by acquiring land from more than fifty landowners.

The estate covers nearly 265 hectares, including 60 hectares of vineyards divided into three groups on hills swept by sea breezes. At Maccari, the vineyards face the Vendicari Nature Oasis, while the areas of Contrada Gerbi and Contrada Timponazzo vary in altitude and exposure, with black sandy or white calcareous soils. Nero d’Avola, Grillo and Syrah grow alongside carob and olive trees and are bush-trained using the alberello system. In the cellar, wines age in temperature-controlled steel vats, egg-shaped concrete tanks, cocciopesto containers or oak barrels.
