Fariña, or Bodegas Fariña, is a family winery in Toro founded by Manuel Fariña. In 1986, following Spain’s entry into the EEC, it changed its name from Bodegas Porto to Bodegas Fariña. In 2015, Manu Fariña, the family’s third generation, joined the winery after completing his agricultural engineering studies and a master’s in oenology.

The winery cultivates more than 300 hectares of its own vineyards, with Tinta de Toro and white Malvasía the main varieties in its D.O. Toro vineyards. Across its vineyards, cultivation follows integrated production principles, while Las Marbanas and Magarín have held organic certification since 2013. In the cellar, its wines include Primero, made using traditional carbonic maceration and released 45 days after the harvest begins.
