Elena Walch is a wine producer with its main estate and historic cellar in Tramin. The cellar was dug underground and built from natural stone. The Walch family owns the 20-hectare Vigna Castel Ringberg, about 8 km from the main estate.

At Castel Ringberg, a Renaissance castle erected by the Habsburg dynasty in 1620 overlooks Lake Caldaro. The vineyard grows Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon, Riesling, Lagrein and Cabernet Sauvignon. In the fermentation cellar, gravity has been used to process grapes since the 2015 harvest. After years of work on sustainability, the estate received Italy’s official VIVA sustainability certification in 2024. Its wines include Gewürztraminer Vigna Kastelaz, from the steep, terraced Kastelaz vineyard above Tramin.
On VinoVoss, Elena Walch has 6 wines in stock: 6 white. Their average rating is 4.0 out of 5 from 178 ratings.
