Abbazia di Novacella (Stiftskellerei Neustift) is an Augustinian abbey in Vahrn, South Tyrol, founded in 1142 by Blessed Hartmann, Bishop of Brixen. Around 1630, it acquired several wine estates southwest of Bolzano and established the Mariaheim estate. In 1807, the Kingdom of Bavaria dissolved all Tyrolean abbeys, including Neustift. Following Tyrol’s return to Austria, Neustift was restored by imperial edict in 1816.

The abbey’s white wines come from the cool sites and light soils of the Eisacktal, while the warm, low-lying sites in Girlan and Bolzano are suited to its red wines. Its wines include three ranges: Klassische Linie, Praepositus Linie and Einzellagenweine.
On VinoVoss, Abbazia di Novacella (Stiftskellerei Neustift) has 3 wines in stock: 2 red, 1 white. Their average rating is 4.0 out of 5 from 275 ratings.
