At Domaine de la Grenaudière, the earliest generations of the Ollivier family were polycultural farmers who settled in Maisdon-sur-Sèvre in 1723. Later, the Ollivier brothers, building on the work of their father Joseph, shifted the estate's focus entirely to viticulture and the production of dry white wines. The estate's vineyards are situated at the confluence of the Sèvre and Maine rivers on ancient granitic soils of the Armorican Massif, and include 28 hectares of vineyards planted with the Melon B grape variety. In addition, the estate maintains HVE Niveau 3 certification. In winemaking, de-alcoholized wines are fermented in stainless steel vats, aged on the lees, and dealcoholized using low-temperature vacuum distillation.
