Christian Moreau Père & Fils was founded in 2001 and is owned by the Moreau family, who acquired the Clos des Hospices parcel from the Hospices of Chablis in 1904. In 1998, the merchant business was sold to Boisset while the family retained the vineyards, returning to winemaking with the 2002 vintage. Fabien Moreau took charge of the domaine in 2001 upon returning from New Zealand.

Clos des Hospices is a Moreau family exclusivity located within the Grand Cru Les Clos appellation, and the domaine holds a 1.2-hectare parcel named Les Pargues on the left bank of the Serein. Vineyard cultivation employs plowing, organic fertilizers, and no pesticides in the soil since 2004, with the entire vineyard conversion to organic agriculture certified by Ecocert starting with the 2013 vintage. All grapes are harvested entirely by hand across all appellations, and vinification uses exclusively natural yeasts, combining oak barrels with stainless steel tanks. Its wines include Chablis Grand Cru, Chablis 1er Cru, Chablis, and Petit Chablis.
