Domaine du Nozay is a family-owned wine estate in Sancerre, founded by Baron Philippe de Benoist and his wife Marie-Hélène. Philippe and Marie-Hélène de Benoist planted their first hectare of Sauvignon in 1971, and the estate's first harvest took place in 1974. Cyril de Benoist works alongside his father Philippe in the vineyard and cellar.

Le Nozay is a 17th-century château located near the village of Sainte-Gemme-en-Sancerrois, north of Sancerre. The estate covers 16 hectares of Sauvignon. Certified organic since 2011 under FR BIO 10, biodynamic since 2017 by Demeter France, and Vin Méthode Nature, the estate cultivates soil mechanically, fertilizes naturally, and guides treatments with a weather station. Since 2003, it has utilized the genodics process to reduce vine mortality and losses caused by Esca and BDA. Grapes are pressed using a pneumatic press to handle the pomace gently and obtain very clean must. Vinification takes place in barrel-shaped stainless steel vats over extended periods, without yeasts or superfluous additives.
