Charles Brotte, also called Maison Brotte, is a family wine business founded in Châteauneuf-du-Pape in 1931 by Charles Brotte. His son Jean-Pierre took over in 1970 and developed export markets. Château de Bord, owned by Laurent Brotte and his father Jean-Pierre, was purchased in 1991. Thibault and Benoît joined the domaine in 2015.

The business owns three family domaines: Domaine Barville (26.5 hectares), Domaine Grosset in Cairanne (27.5 hectares) and Château de Bord in Laudun (33 hectares). Its wines include wines from the Rhône Valley, while its reds combine Grenache with Syrah and Mourvèdre. Red-wine lees are stirred for roundness, and ageing takes place mainly in hundred-year-old oak casks and concrete tanks. For Syrah, it uses barrels previously used for one, two or three wines.
