Cà Maiol

Cà Maiol is a wine estate in Desenzano del Garda, in the Lugana area, with a historic winery building dating to 1710. Its history in Lugana dates to 1967, and it joined Santa Margherita Gruppo Vinicolo in 2017.

The estate’s farming avoids synthetic products, encourages native soil microflora and uses conservative pruning. In the cellar, gravity-fed processing is important for the delicate Turbiana grape, while each vineyard can be vinified separately. Its wines include Lugana, Valtènesi Chiaretto and Negresco, a red wine classified as Benaco Bresciano Rosso.
