At Guido Berlucchi, Franco Ziliani played a role in the history of Franciacorta. The family business is managed by Arturo Ziliani and his siblings, and Arturo Ziliani serves as the CEO of Berlucchi Franciacorta.

Located in Franciacorta, the winery practices regenerative agriculture, and its vineyards have been certified organic since 2016. The Mille1Vigna project analyzed and classified vineyards to link wine character to soil types. In addition, aerial infrared mapping is utilized to evaluate vineyard fertility, stagger harvest, and fertilize only when needed, while Pinot Nero grapes are cultivated in the Brolo vineyard. The historic cellar dates back to 1680 and is located ten meters underground. Wines age in this underground cellar, which also preserves the very first bottle of Franciacorta produced.
