Biltmore is a winery on George Vanderbilt’s estate in Asheville, North Carolina; the family-owned estate dates to 1895. George Vanderbilt’s grandson William Cecil helped establish its vineyards through his involvement in planting the first vines. Biltmore Winery celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2025.

The 8,000-acre estate lies in the Blue Ridge Mountains, where an estate vineyard produces Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot grapes. These varieties thrive in Western North Carolina’s temperate climate. Sharon Fenchak is Biltmore’s winemaker.
On VinoVoss, Biltmore Estate has 10 wines in stock: 4 red, 6 white. Their average rating is 3.8 out of 5 from 151 ratings.
