Rich, tropical fruit profile emerges upon opening, giving way to a subtle, citrusy nuance after 30 minutes. The wine's controlled tartness provides a crisp contrast to its smooth, round texture. A fabulous offering for its price, this wine is perfect for everyday sipping.

What the web is saying

Yalumba Y Series Unwooded Chardonnay is praised for its rich tropical and citrus fruit flavors, with a smooth, creamy texture and a crisp, refreshing finish. While some enjoy its zesty, unoaked profile, others find it lacks depth. The wine pairs well with seafood and light dishes, offering a versatile and affordable option for everyday drinking.

Voss Experts3.8

This Yalumba Y Series Unwooded Chardonnay is a bright and refreshing white wine, offering up a lively mix of citrus and stone fruit aromas, with a creamy texture and a crisp, mineral finish. On the palate, there is a great balance of ripe fruit and acidity, with a hint of spice and a lingering finish. Overall, this elegant and well-structured wine is a great choice for a summer lunch or dinner.
