The Yalumba The Caley Cabernet - Shiraz is a remarkable blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz grapes. On the nose, this wine offers a complex bouquet of blackcurrant, blackberry, and plum, accompanied by hints of cedar, forest floor, and vanilla. The aromas are intense and inviting, promising a truly enjoyable tasting experience. The palate is equally impressive, with a full-bodied and velvety texture. The flavors of dark fruits continue to dominate, with additional notes of chocolate, coffee, and black pepper adding depth and complexity. The tannins are well-integrated, providing a smooth and lingering finish. It is a wine that can be enjoyed now, but also has the potential to age gracefully for many years.

Rich, gentle encounter unfolds in this amazing vintage, with suggestions of warm spices, sweet vanilla, and a soft nuance of cinnamon. The boldness of black olive, blackcurrant, and red currant adds depth and complexity, at the same time a suggestion of blueberry and a touch of smoke and oak round out the finish. Yalumba The Caley Cabernet-Shiraz is celebrated for its rich, full-bodied profile, with layers of black fruit, spices, and herbal notes. While some praise its harmonious blend and long finish, others find certain vintages lacking finesse. The wine's aging potential and complex flavors make it a favorite for cellaring, though decanting is recommended to fully appreciate its depth and balance.
