Labor of love, but still a work in progress. A gentle harmony of flavors, with hints of brioche, toast, and honey. The tartness and tannins are well-balanced, suggesting a long-term development. A promising start, but with much to be done.
Chalent
Vibrant and bubbly drink, paired seamlessly with a casual gathering, especially with friends and a delicious meal like pizza.

Delightful rosé from the Hamptons, Long Island, NY, crafted from a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. This wine boasts a vibrant bronze cast and effervescent quality. Its fragrance features notes of ripe raspberries, strawberries, and apple, and yet its texture delivers a refreshing, cool, and crisp experience. The wine's bracing quality is well-balanced, producing luscious fruit tastes that are harmoniously enhanced by its mineral undertones. The finale is smooth and lingering, making it a worthwhile pleasure for those looking for a delightful rosé.

This sparkling rosé receives mixed praise for its crisp effervescence and citrus-floral notes, though quality varies by vintage. While many appreciate its smooth finish and food pairing versatility, some note inconsistent bubbles and occasional artificial flavors. Recent vintages show promise with better balance of tartness and honeyed undertones.

On the nose, this wine offers a delightful bouquet of fresh red berries, accompanied by subtle floral notes. There is also a hint of citrus, adding a refreshing touch to the aromatic profile. Upon tasting, the wine reveals a crisp and vibrant acidity, which is well-balanced by a creamy texture. The flavors of red berries persist on the palate, complemented by delicate hints of brioche and a mineral undertone. The finish is long and satisfying, leaving a lingering impression of fruitiness. Overall, the Wölffer Estate Noblesse Oblige Extra Brut Rosé is a superb sparkling wine that showcases the skill and craftsmanship of its producers.
