The wine is made from Riesling grapes grown in the Brauneberger Juffer-Sonnenuhr vineyard. The winemaking process involves careful selection of later-picked riper grapes that are gentle pressing before being fermented in temperature controlled in traditional old oak barrels (Fuder) with indigenous yeast.
