Voss Expert tasting note

This wine presents a deep garnet hue, revealing its old-vine Carignan origins. The nose is a symphony of dark plum, black cherry, and dried herbs, underscored by a subtle minerality. On the palate, it offers a robust structure with velvety tannins and a vibrant acidity that balances the concentrated fruit core. Notes of black olive and a hint of graphite add complexity, leading to a long, savory finish. This wine exemplifies the elegance and depth typical of Priorat, showcasing the region's capacity for producing age-worthy reds with finesse and power.

A rare and exclusive offering, this wine is limited to only 200 bottles. I seized the opportunity to try it, and I'm pleased with the experience.

Standout example of Carignan, this 100% Carignan from a single 0.74 ha. vineyard in Masroig expresses the variety's rugged, full-bodied character, with a rich, supple texture and a long, pleasing finish.

Decent but unremarkable red wine with a full bodied fruit body and a mix of plum, mineral, and dried fruit flavors. but it has a good structure, it could benefit from a bit more aeration to bring out its full potential.
