Vietti Derthona Timorasso Colli Tortonesi 2024

The wine's nose is quite pronounced, with a blend of fruity and floral notes, containing pear, peach, and lemon. On the palate, the notes are more subtle, with a focus on lemon and apricot, accompanied by a hint of honey.

Sumptuous and smooth expression of the grape, expressing its remarkable maturity and depth. The smell is defined by a faint symmetry of floral and fruit notes, with a delicate minerality and a rich, round texture. The flavor is equally impressive, with a opulent and unctuous mouthfeel complemented by a range of fruit flavors, bringing ripe pineapple, caramel, and fresh apricot, alongside accents of leather and oak. A truly amazing offering for the price.

Classy and elegant Timorasso, underscoring the expertise of Vietti. The first vintage of the series, Vietti has been experimenting with the terroir of Monleale, and it pays off. The 2022 Timorasso is a masterclass in seamlessness and finesse, with a bracing and bright style that belies its depth. The winemaker's commitment to traditional methods is evident in the 1000cases +300single cru production, which adds a level of depth and nuance. A true gem in the Timorasso family.
