This Zinfandel showcases a deep ruby hue, with an aromatic bouquet of ripe blackberries, dark cherries, and a hint of cracked black pepper, underscored by subtle notes of vanilla and toasted oak. On the palate, it reveals a full-bodied structure, with velvety tannins and a vibrant acidity that provides balance to the wine's rich fruit core. The complexity is further enhanced by layers of cocoa and anise, leading to a long, spicy finish. This wine exemplifies the robust and expressive nature of Napa Valley Zinfandel, offering both immediate pleasure and potential for further development.
