Vaeni Naoussa Naoussa is praised for its rich, full-bodied profile with fruity notes of cherry, strawberry, and plum. It offers a balance of tannins and acidity, making it versatile for food pairings. While some appreciate its smooth finish and complex aromas, others find the tannins harsh. The wine's affordability and easy-drinking nature are consistently highlighted, though its tartness may not suit all palates.
Vaeni Naoussa Naoussa displays a pale ruby color in the glass, typical of this thin-skinned variety. On the nose, it offers a bouquet of red fruits such as sour cherries and plums, along with earthy notes of forest floor and spices like cinnamon and clove. On the palate, this wine is characterized by its medium to full body and high acidity. The tannins are firm yet well-integrated, providing structure and aging potential. Flavors of ripe red fruits continue to dominate, accompanied by savory elements like flint and tar. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a pleasant aftertaste.
