Twenty Acres Chardonnay 2023

Twenty Acres Chardonnay offers a mellow experience with green apple notes and a rich butteriness. While some enjoy its citrus and lemon layers, others find the butter flavor overwhelming. The wine is described as opulent and fruity, with some reviewers noting a lack of complexity. It appeals to those who appreciate a sweeter, buttery profile, though opinions on its overall balance vary.

Exhibiting a pale straw hue, the Twenty Acres Chardonnay unveils a bouquet of ripe stone fruits, particularly white peach and apricot, interwoven with subtle nuances of honeysuckle and toasted almond. On the palate, it offers a harmonious blend of creamy texture and vibrant acidity, creating a well-balanced structure. The mid-palate reveals layers of lemon curd and a hint of minerality, leading to a lingering finish accented by delicate notes of vanilla and a whisper of oak. This Chardonnay is a quintessential expression of its terroir, showcasing finesse and elegance typical of premium Californian whites.
