Fleeting impression, leaving the sensation too soon. A jarring combination of wet wool, red apple, and buttered parsley.

Smooth and consistent wine with a subtle, inviting color and a delicate, nuanced nose that unfolds with the sweetness of yellow apple, the creaminess of pineapple, and the warmth of toasted almond, all well integrated by a crisp, lively zest and a dry, medium body.

What the web is saying

Trefethen Chardonnay is praised for its vibrant citrus and apple notes, creamy texture, and well-integrated oak. Many appreciate its balance and smooth finish, while some find it too subtle or lacking depth. The wine's bright acidity and hints of butter and vanilla are often highlighted. It's a versatile wine that pairs well with seafood and creamy dishes, though opinions vary on its complexity and richness.

Voss Experts3.8

This Trefethen Chardonnay from Napa Valley is a medium-bodied white wine with a creamy texture and flavors of lemon curd, green apple, and toasted vanilla. It has a pleasing acidity and a long, lingering finish that is balanced and refreshing. Its complexity and depth make it a great food wine, perfect for pairing with seafood or poultry dishes.
