Tanko
Youthful and grippy wine, it effortlessly makes its way to the decanter and is savored over the next three hours, pairing elegantly with a 3-inch cut ribeye steak. The cook time was almost 1.5 hours, and the result is a wine that has fully matured, revealing a voluptuous and sophisticated profile. The nose is defined by by deep cherries, with super mineral and bloodied notes, in contrast the tanginess and minerality provide a crisp contrast. As the hour passes, the wine becomes drinkable, with a lingering close that exhibits the Nerello Mascalese's best qualities.
