Crisp and bracing wine with a fruity and delicate character, suggestive of a well-balanced Pinot Noir, yet with a lighter and more amiable profile.

Nuanced and thought provoking wine with a rich, earthy character, featuring undertones of cherry, mineral, and a wisp of ash on the nose. On the palate, it unfolds with a dusty, earthy texture, paired by the understated weight of cocoa powder and restrained fruit. The tannins are firm and well-integrated, adding substance and backbone to the wine.

I thoroughly enjoy this wine, and it was a pleasure to discover it through my Italian acquaintance.

Voss Experts4.0

This Tornatore Trimarchisa Etna Rosso is a medium-bodied red wine made from Nerello Mascalese grapes grown on the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna. On the nose, it reveals aromas of black cherry, blackberry, and raspberry, as well as subtle notes of licorice, black pepper, and sweet spices. On the palate, it offers a generous and juicy texture, with bright acidity and soft, ripe tannins. The finish is harmonious and lingering, with a pleasant minerality that adds complexity. Overall, this is a balanced and pleasing red wine with a great character.
