To Kalon Vineyard Eliza's presents a deep garnet hue, indicative of its rich concentration. The bouquet is a symphony of blackcurrant, cassis, and graphite, underscored by a subtle hint of cedar and violets, reflecting its Napa Valley pedigree. On the palate, the wine reveals a full-bodied structure with velvety tannins and a core of ripe plum and dark cherry. The acidity is well-integrated, providing a lift that carries through to a long, mineral-driven finish. This wine exemplifies the opulence and finesse characteristic of To Kalon's esteemed terroir, promising both immediate pleasure and potential for graceful aging.
