Tenuta San Guido Sassicaia 2023

Tenuta San Guido Sassicaia is celebrated for its rich, full-bodied character with layers of dark fruit, forest floor, and cedar. Many appreciate its smooth tannins and long finish, though some find it overpriced or requiring more age to fully develop. While some enjoy its complexity and balance, others feel it lacks the expected depth. Overall, it remains a highly regarded choice for wine enthusiasts.

Tenuta San Guido Sassicaia is a highly sought-after Italian red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. It has a deep ruby-red color and intense nose of violets, blackberry, black currant and forest floor. On the palate, it is full-bodied, velvety and elegant, with a long and persistent finish. The powerful tannins are well balanced and harmoniously integrated with the ripe fruit, mineral and spicy notes. It is a complex, age-worthy wine that will reward years of cellaring.
