Beverage with an excessive amount of alcohol, marked by a thin, flat appearance and a very light color.

Rich, full-bodied wine with a intense brown color and a sweet, caramel-like aroma. The nose is influenced by by notes of caramel and a dash of sweetness, but the flavor profile is more subdued than that of port. The sweetness is balanced by a delicate fruitiness, but overall, the wine feels more restrained than its port counterpart.

Deep and pleasing wine with a sweet and nutty character, it pairs well with hearty dishes like shepherd's pie.

Voss Experts4.5

Taylor Madeira presents a deep amber hue, indicative of its oxidative maturation. The nose is a harmonious blend of dried fig, roasted nuts, and a hint of orange zest, underpinned by a subtle saline edge. On the palate, it reveals a medium-sweet profile with a vibrant acidity that balances its rich, nutty complexity. Layers of caramelized apple and a whisper of spice unfold, leading to a lingering finish marked by notes of burnt sugar and a touch of sea spray. This Madeira exemplifies the island's unique terroir, offering a classic expression of fortified elegance.
