I was thoroughly impressed with this wine. The mountain's position yields a soft, supple taste of blue fruit, which is unmistakable. Blueberry stands out immediately, with a silky mouthfeel. Cherry, raspberry, and accents of cocoa and cinnamon follow, creating a delightful finish. This wine is easy-drinking and supremely enjoyable, making it a pleasure to savor. I highly recommend it.

What the web is saying

Tate Cabernet Sauvignon is praised for its rich berry flavors, including blueberry and blackberry, and a silky mouthfeel. It offers a complex profile with notes of cocoa, cinnamon, and spices, while some find it has a firm tannin backbone. Although some reviews mention limitations, others highlight its excellence and enjoyable drinking experience, especially with food pairings.

Voss Experts4.3

Tate Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied, robust red wine with intense aromas of dark berries, cassis, and baking spices. On the palate, it has ripe, polished tannins and complex notes of mocha, and cedar. The finish is long and lingering. Drink now but this wine can be cellared for the next 20 years to reach its full potential. Serve with your favorite cut of steak.
