Sterling Vineyards Vintner's Collection Merlot 2021

Well-balanced and balanced option within the Sterling Vintner's Collection lineup. The nose and tasting exhibit a seamless seamlessness of plum and black currant jam, with a soft initial sharpness that gradually subsides. The flavor profile is highlighted by a touch of juiciness, occasionally tempered by artificial notes, accompanied by black cherry and blackberry undertones. A smooth, smooth consistency is accompanied by a comforting finish, featuring accents of chocolate, baking spice, oak, and a nuance of tannins. The broadly effect is a pleasant, if not primarily exceptional, pairing with Julia's red chicken enchiladas.

Clean start to the wine, with a burst of fruit that quickly gives way to a dry, plum-like lasting impression that remains on the palate, making it a mind-blowing offering for the price.
