The reviewer's earlier comment about stable scents in their bottles was a misinterpretation. The other reviewer's moment was indeed unfortunate. The wine is elegant and well-balanced. It's fruity and dry. The reviewer's suggestion to try their red wines is well-taken. The pinot noirs are significantly noteworthy.

Shelter Winery Rosé de Noir 2018 is elegant and well-balanced, offering fruity and dry characteristics. While some reviewers misinterpreted stable scents, others recommend exploring the winery's pinot noirs.
Exhibiting a delicate salmon hue, the Shelter Winery Rosé de Noir captivates with its aromatic bouquet of wild strawberries, rose petals, and a whisper of white pepper. On the palate, it reveals a finely-tuned balance between vibrant acidity and a subtle creaminess, underscored by notes of red currant and a hint of blood orange zest. The mineral backbone provides a refreshing lift, leading to a crisp, lingering finish with a touch of saline complexity. This rosé stands as a testament to the finesse achievable in Baden, offering both immediate pleasure and a glimpse into the region's potential for elegance.
