Gnosein
Complex and enticing wine with a multifaceted character, it struggles to reconcile its French heritage with its distinctly American sensibilities. The nose is marked by grassy, citrusy, and apple-like aromas, with a delicate accent of orange peel and buttery oak. The texture is initially cool and crisp, but the oak's influence soon takes hold, yielding to a intense and toasty texture, accompanied by candied apple, grapefruit, and a wisp of spice on the finish.
Fher
Delicate Chardonnay with a rich, creamy texture and a gentle nuance, expressing the best of the estate's dry-farmed, cool-climate vineyards. A balanced blend of Dijon clones, aged in a traditional style with a nuance of new oak, yielding a intricate and elegant flavor profile. The taste is featured by a soft cohesion of apple, pear, and mineral notes, with a fulfilling close that leaves a long lived impression. A perfect pairing for a cold winter's evening, especially when served with a decadent and savory dish like white chicken chili. A delightful wine to savor and enjoy.
Bowers
Significant departure from previous vintages, the 2018 vintage has adopted a concrete egg, yielding a distinctively different character. The nose retains a prominent straw and hay presence, but the mouthfeel is now defined by by citrus notes, with a pronounced lemon quality.
