This Schrader MB To Kalon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is a delightful full-bodied red wine with inviting aromas of blackberry, black cherry, and ripe plum. The palate offers flavors of dark chocolate, espresso, and toasty oak. The tannins are well-integrated and provide a velvety texture. The finish is long and elegant with hints of cocoa powder and dusty earth. An excellent example of Cabernet Sauvignon from the renowned To Kalon Vineyard.

A disappointing dinner experience, despite high expectations. The Schrader RBS to Kalon is a bar set for this label, but it falls short in terms of quality. The dense, sediment-laden vintage is a major turn-off, and as it did open up, it's unclear if cellaring it would make a significant difference. Given the other Schrader wines we've had in the past, this one feels like a misstep. The price is hard to justify.

The Schrader MB To Kalon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 is criticized for its dense, sediment-laden quality, which some find disappointing compared to other Schrader wines. While it may improve with cellaring, the high price is hard to justify for many.
