A disappointing dinner experience, despite high expectations. The Schrader RBS to Kalon is a bar set for this label, but it falls short in terms of quality. The dense, sediment-laden vintage is a major turn-off, and as it did open up, it's unclear if cellaring it would make a significant difference. Given the other Schrader wines we've had in the past, this one feels like a misstep. The price is hard to justify.
