Savée Sea Sauvignon Blanc is praised for its vibrant citrus and tropical fruit flavors, with notes of passion fruit, gooseberry, and a hint of grass. While many appreciate its refreshing and balanced profile, some find it overly sweet. It's seen as a versatile wine, pairing well with various dishes, though not always ideal for seafood. Overall, it's considered a delightful and affordable option for warm weather.
This Sauvignon Blanc presents a luminous pale straw hue, exuding an aromatic bouquet of zesty lime, passion fruit, and freshly cut grass, underscored by a subtle minerality. On the palate, it reveals a vibrant acidity that is both crisp and refreshing, harmoniously balanced with flavors of gooseberry, green apple, and a hint of flinty minerality. The mid-palate is textured and lively, leading to a clean, lingering finish with a whisper of saline. Exemplifying the quintessential Marlborough style, this wine is a benchmark for its varietal purity and expressive regional character.
