Tasting highlight
The grapes are harvested early to preserve their natural acidity and are gently pressed to extract a delicate pink hue. Fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to maintain freshness and fruit purity.

This effervescent rosé, with its delicate salmon hue, immediately captivates with a bouquet of wild strawberries, rose petals, and a hint of wet stone minerality. On the palate, the wine reveals a fine mousse and a precise, linear acidity that underscores its vibrant red berry and citrus zest flavors. The mid-palate offers a subtle creaminess, suggesting brief lees contact, which adds depth and complexity. A whisper of saline minerality lingers on the crisp, refreshing finish, making this a quintessential expression of Portuguese sparkling rosé, ideal for pairing with seafood or enjoying as an aperitif.

São João Bruto Rosé is praised for its lively, fruity profile with notes of strawberry, cherry, and melon. While some appreciate its crisp acidity and smooth finish, others find it too subtle. The wine's effervescence and mineral undertones are noted, with some comparing it favorably to French Champagne. However, opinions vary on its complexity, with some finding it refreshing but not exceptional.
