Sand Point Chardonnay 2024

Sand Point Chardonnay is appreciated for its balanced blend of green apple, tropical fruits, and oak, with a creamy vanilla finish. While some find it straightforward and lacking complexity, others praise its citrusy brightness and elegant texture. The wine's lively, dry character makes it suitable for various dishes, though opinions vary on its depth and sophistication.

Displaying a pale straw hue, Sand Point Chardonnay opens with a bouquet of ripe pear, white peach, and a whisper of honeysuckle, underscored by subtle nuances of toasted almond and wet stone. On the palate, it reveals a harmonious interplay of creamy texture and vibrant acidity, offering flavors of lemon curd and golden apple. The mid-palate is enriched by a deft touch of oak, imparting a delicate vanilla undertone. Concluding with a clean, mineral-driven finish, this Chardonnay exemplifies a well-crafted balance, aligning with the classic elegance of California's esteemed wine regions.
