San Lorenzo Oinos Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Colline Teramane NV

San Lorenzo Oinos Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Colline Teramane is praised for its rich, full-bodied nature with deep fruit flavors and smooth texture. While some appreciate its balance and complexity, others find it unremarkable and unbalanced. Common notes include black fruits, oak, and spices, with a lingering finish. The wine pairs well with hearty dishes, though some vintages are criticized for harshness and lack of harmony.

Exhibiting a deep garnet hue, this Montepulciano d'Abruzzo unfurls with a bouquet of ripe black cherry, plum, and a whisper of dried herbs, underscored by a subtle minerality. On the palate, the wine is robust yet elegantly structured, with velvety tannins and a vibrant acidity that provides a refreshing counterpoint to its rich, dark fruit core. Hints of cocoa and a touch of anise emerge on the lengthy finish, showcasing the wine's complexity and finesse. This is a quintessential expression of the Colline Teramane terroir, offering both immediate appeal and potential for graceful aging.
