What the web is saying

Ruffino Modus Toscana is a rich, full-bodied wine praised for its complex blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. It features notes of dark fruits, forest floor, and oak, with a smooth, velvety finish. While some appreciate its bold flavors and aging potential, others find it lacks nuance and can be overly tannic. Overall, it offers good value for its price, especially when paired with hearty dishes.

Voss Experts3.8

Ruffino Modus Toscana offers a captivating nose of ripe blackberry and cherry, with hints of hazelnut, cedar, and forest floor. On the palate, the wine is dense and concentrated, with a velvety texture, and flavors of dark plum, blackberry, and spice. The finish is long and generous, with hints of dark chocolate and dried herbs. The tannins are well-integrated and provide structure to the wine. Overall, this is an elegant and complex Tuscan red that will delight any wine lover.
