Cofradia
I'm sipping this wine with a discerning palate, and I must say, it's a bit of a mixed bag. The connoisseur's comments about plum and yeasty flavors are certainly... evocative, but I'm not sure I buy into the 'oxidation like wet cardboard' vibe. In fact, I find it rather... soothing. The tail is gentle and fruity, with a note of cherry. I'm not one to toot my own horn, but I think this wine is a solid effort. It's sweet and tannic, but the story behind it is pretty compelling. I'd like to share it with my wife, and I'm happy to oblige. She's been looking forward to trying it all week.
