Ravines Dry Riesling 2021

Ravines Dry Riesling is celebrated for its vibrant and crisp profile, with frequent mentions of green apple, pear, and citrus notes. Its minerality and petrol hints add complexity, while the balance of sweetness and acidity is often praised. Some find the finish slightly abrupt or the petrol notes overpowering, but overall, it is a well-regarded choice for Riesling enthusiasts.

This Finger Lakes Riesling presents a pale straw hue with a glint of green. The nose is a precise bouquet of lime zest, white peach, and a whisper of petrol, hallmark characteristics of a well-crafted Riesling. On the palate, it showcases a razor-sharp acidity that cuts through the ripe stone fruit and green apple flavors, offering a taut, mineral-driven backbone. The finish is long and steely, with a saline edge that speaks to its cool-climate origins. This wine exemplifies the region's potential for producing world-class dry Rieslings, balancing elegance with a vibrant, refreshing complexity.
