Tasting highlight
The wine undergoes a brief maceration to extract its pink hue and is fortified to maintain a balance of sweetness and acidity. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks to preserve its fresh fruit character.

A vibrant expression of rosé port, this wine showcases a luminous salmon hue. On the nose, it reveals an intricate bouquet of ripe strawberries, red currants, and a hint of rose petal, underscored by subtle notes of almond and spice. The palate is elegantly structured, with a harmonious interplay of refreshing acidity and a delicate sweetness, offering flavors of wild berries and a touch of citrus zest. The finish is long and refined, with a whisper of mineral salinity. This rosé port is a testament to the finesse and versatility of Douro Valley winemaking.

The nose is a veritable scent of summer fruits, with a sweet, succulent quality that's simply irresistible. The palate is a rich, full-bodied experience, with a smooth, smooth touch that's hard to resist. However, the style is decidedly more robust, with a high ABV and a lingering bracing quality that may leave the taste feeling a tad parched. Still, the sheer beauty of the wine is undeniable, and I find myself wondering how much I could indulge in its charms.
Perrette Ijsseling
Delicate, pale pink pigment with a understated red fruit and orange undertones. The nose is filled with a sweet, floral bouquet, and yet the tasting is rounded and soft, with a mellow structure and a medium body. The layers are akin to of strawberry and orange peel, with a gentle, lingering finish.
Koulou
Clean and fruity rosé, ideally suited for warm weather. The addition of ice cubes will make it a exceptional premium for a casual gathering. Quinta do Tedo's approach to port production is nostalgic of Quinta do Vallado's sweet white port, but with a more polished and harmonious taste. I would recommend this rosé to those looking for a lighter and more drinkable option.

Quinta do Tedo Rosé Porto presents a sweet, fruity character with prominent strawberry notes and floral aromas, balanced by tart undertones. While praised for its smooth texture and lingering finish, some reviewers find the high alcohol content drying and note divisive opinions about its sweetness level. The wine appeals to those seeking a complex profile but may challenge drinkers preferring subtlety.
