Piccini Pinot Grigio delle Venezie 2023

This Pinot Grigio is praised for its refreshing citrus and green apple notes balanced with subtle sweetness and crisp acidity, though some find it lacks depth. While many appreciate its bright, easy-drinking character, others note a short finish and straightforward profile. Occasional mineral hints and honey undertones add complexity.

This Pinot Grigio presents a pale straw hue, characteristic of its Venetian origin. On the nose, it offers a delicate bouquet of green apple, pear, and a hint of white blossom, underscored by a subtle minerality. The palate is crisp and refreshing, with a well-defined acidity that enhances its light-bodied structure. Flavors of citrus and stone fruit are elegantly intertwined, leading to a clean, brisk finish. This wine exemplifies the classic style of Pinot Grigio from the delle Venezie region, making it an ideal aperitif or companion to light seafood dishes.
