Voss Expert tasting note

This Chilean red presents a deep garnet hue, indicative of its concentrated nature. The bouquet unfolds with layers of black cherry, plum, and a whisper of earthy minerality, underscored by hints of dried herbs and subtle oak influence. On the palate, it reveals a robust structure with firm yet polished tannins and a vibrant acidity that carries the fruit through to a long, savory finish. The wine's complexity and balance are emblematic of the Itata Valley's terroir, making it a compelling choice for those seeking a wine that marries tradition with modern finesse.

Pedro Parra y Familia Miles is a red wine crafted in the Itata Valley of Chile, an area known for its ancient, dry-farmed vineyards and granitic soils. The wine is made predominantly from Cinsault grapes, which are hand-harvested and fermented with native yeasts to preserve the natural character of the fruit. The wine undergoes a gentle maceration process, followed by aging in neutral vessels to maintain its fresh, vibrant profile. This results in a medium-bodied wine with bright acidity, showcasing red fruit flavors and a mineral-driven finish, ideal for those who appreciate terroir-focused expressions.
