The bottle unfurls a vibrant tapestry of fruit and floral notes, with peach, lemon, and apple emerging as the dominant flavors. A nuanced mineral undertone adds depth, echoing of a well-balanced chardonnay. The lively quality of this wine is primarily striking, with a suggestion of effervescence that adds a delightful touch. The small amount of carbonation was a pleasing surprise, elevating the ultimately exploring experience.

Voss Experts4.5

The 2022 Pazo Pondal Lenda Albariño presents a luminous, pale straw hue with greenish reflections, indicative of its youthful vitality. On the nose, it unfurls a bouquet of white peach, lime zest, and jasmine, underscored by a saline minerality that speaks to its Galician terroir. The palate is vibrant and precise, showcasing a harmonious interplay of ripe citrus and stone fruit, framed by a racy acidity that drives the wine's linear structure. A whisper of almond and wet stone lingers on the finish, confirming its place as a quintessential expression of Albariño, ideal for immediate enjoyment or short-term cellaring.
