Displaying a deep garnet hue, the Paxton Now Shiraz opens with an expressive bouquet of ripe blackberry, plum, and subtle hints of violet, underscored by a touch of white pepper and earthy undertones. The palate is medium to full-bodied, showcasing a harmonious balance between its vibrant acidity and velvety tannins, which provide a structured backbone. Layers of dark chocolate and black cherry unfold, leading to a long, spicy finish with a whisper of oak influence. This Shiraz exemplifies the McLaren Vale style, offering both immediate appeal and potential for short-term cellaring.

Paxton Now by Paxton Shiraz is praised for its bold, full-bodied character with rich flavors of blackcurrant, plum, and pepper. While some appreciate its smooth, well-integrated tannins and organic production, others find it lacking complexity and depth. The wine's fruity and spicy notes are highlighted, though opinions vary on its overall vibrancy and freshness. It's a versatile choice for pairing with various dishes.
