Nuanced and lingering trail with a mix of sweet and savory notes, highlighting cherry and pomegranate, supported by the impression of minerals, clay, and earthy undertones, in contrast licorice and smoke add depth, and violet and baking spice provide a elegant complexity.
Alexi
The wine's textured profile is distinguished by a smoky, cherry, and leather note, with a gentle saline undertone.
Nachi
Visit to this winery in June was a resounding success. The cherry lush personality shines through, and the cherry and pomegranate kiss the flavor with a delightful evenness of brightness and earthy undertones. The dusty tannins add a charged, nervy energy that's both intriguing and alluring. The smoky mineral accents are a welcome addition, and the Nerello is clearly the star of the show. A 5-year-old wine in a good place is a testament to the winery's dedication to quality. 🌋

Passopisciaro Passorosso is praised for its rich, full-bodied profile with a balance of sweet and savory notes, featuring red berries, cherries, and minerality. While some appreciate its elegance and complexity, others find it lacks nuance. The wine's acidity and tannins are well-integrated, offering a refreshing, long finish. It's noted for its versatility with food pairings and potential for aging.

On the palate, it's elegant and concentrated, with flavors of cherry, blackberry, licorice, dried herbs, and minerals. The finish is long, with a lingering hint of pepper.
