A refined and drinkable blend of plum and blackberry, with a fruit-forward profile that's perfect for everyday sipping.

Deep and supple entry level Merlot from Napa Valley, boasting a delightful integration of accents and a supple finish. The nose is shaped by a deep, opaque aroma, with traces of charcoal, leather, and a touch of smoke, while the palate is filled with luxurious dark plums and blueberries, rounded by a rewarding opaque chocolate finish.

What the web is saying

Oberon Merlot is praised for its rich, fruit-forward profile with notes of plum, blackberry, and cherry. Many enjoy its smooth, velvety texture and well-integrated tannins. While some appreciate its subtle oak and chocolate undertones, others find it lacks complexity. It's often described as a good value wine, suitable for everyday drinking, though some vintages are noted for being more memorable than others.

Voss Experts3.8

This Oberon Merlot is an elegant and smooth expression of the classic Merlot varietal. On the nose, aromas of ripe cherry and raspberry mingle with hints of cassis, leather, and forest floor. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, with silky tannins and balanced acidity that leads to a long, lingering finish. Flavors of dark berry fruits, nutmeg, and vanilla unfold, culminating in a memorable, harmonious finish.
