Werna Vinovich
I acquired this wine directly from the winery's cellar. The grapes were undoubtedly overripe, which likely contributed to the wine's intensity. The nose features a rich, intense character with a predominance of dried fruit, showcasing raisins, dried cherries, and dried berries. The wine's color is rich ruby, with a garnet rim. The flavor profile is highlighted by a dominant boldness of dried prunes, licorice, and a dash of sweetness. The wine's viscosity is substantial, with a steady level of residual sugar and a high ABV. Overall, the wine's full-bodied grip and high alcohol content make it a solid and intense option. I extend my gratitude to the winery for providing this elite wine.
