Lively and uplifting wine with a bracing freshness and a faint floral bouquet, featuring suggestions of rose and violet, alongside a elegant undertone of salinity and a touch of pomegranate and grapefruit. Its refined aftertaste and pleasant, easy-drinking quality make it a outstanding highlight for a casual evening.

What the web is saying

Negro Angelo The Piedmont Guy Rosso is praised for its lively, fruity character with floral notes of rose and violet. It pairs well with various dishes, including Indian cuisine. While some find it vibrant and refreshing, others note a lack of effervescence and medium tannins. Its flavors include cherry, strawberry, and licorice, making it a versatile, easy-drinking wine, though not universally loved.

Voss Experts4.5

This Piedmontese red presents a deep garnet hue, revealing an aromatic profile of ripe black cherries, dried rose petals, and a hint of anise. On the palate, it offers a harmonious balance of firm tannins and vibrant acidity, underscoring flavors of dark plum and subtle earthiness. The mid-palate is enriched by a whisper of clove and a mineral undertone, leading to a lingering finish with notes of dried herbs and a touch of graphite. This wine exemplifies the finesse and complexity typical of the region, making it a commendable choice for those exploring Piedmont's vinous offerings.
