Voss Expert tasting note

A deep garnet hue introduces this sophisticated expression from Mountain Brook Vineyards, where the bouquet unfolds with layers of black cherry, cassis, and a subtle hint of graphite, underscored by well-integrated oak nuances. The palate is a harmonious blend of ripe plum and dark chocolate, supported by firm, velvety tannins and a vibrant acidity that provides structure and poise. The finish is long and complex, with lingering notes of cedar and a whisper of dried herbs. This wine exemplifies the finesse and depth characteristic of its regional pedigree, promising both immediate pleasure and potential for graceful aging.

Mountain Brook Vineyards Allin is crafted in the heart of North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains, where the elevation and cool climate contribute to a balanced expression of fruit and acidity. This wine is produced using a blend of traditional and modern winemaking techniques, including fermentation in stainless steel to preserve freshness and partial aging in French oak barrels to add depth and complexity. The result is a medium-bodied wine with a harmonious profile, showcasing ripe fruit flavors and a smooth finish, designed for those who appreciate a refined and approachable style.
