I've come to appreciate the Santa Lucia for its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay profiles. The 2016 Morgan is a soft experience. I detect a light touch of banana on the nose. The taste is full bodied and creamy, with a soft vanilla undertone. A touch of citrus and a undertone of sweetness linger. The aftertaste is well-balanced and refreshing. Overall, it's a delightful wine.
Gherase

The Morgan Highland Chardonnay receives consistent praise for its smooth, creamy texture and balanced oak integration, with prominent citrus, pear, and vanilla notes. While many appreciate its well-rounded character and refreshing finish, some note a slight lack of acidity or mid-palate complexity. Reviews highlight its elegance and food pairing versatility.
The Morgan Highland Chardonnay is a delightful and elegant white wine. On the nose, it offers enticing aromas of ripe tropical fruits such as pineapple and mango, along with hints of citrus and vanilla. The palate is rich and creamy, with a well-balanced acidity that brings freshness to the wine. Flavors of ripe pear, apple, and lemon zest dominate, complemented by subtle oak notes and a touch of buttery goodness. The finish is long and satisfying, leaving a lingering impression of tropical fruits and a touch of minerality. Overall, the Morgan Highland Chardonnay is a well-crafted wine that showcases the best characteristics of a classic Chardonnay. It pairs beautifully with seafood dishes, roasted chicken, or creamy pasta dishes. - The alcohol could be too high for some
