What the web is saying

Montecillo Verdemar Rías Baixas Albariño is described as a decent but unremarkable wine with citrus and fruity notes.

Voss Experts4.5

This Albariño presents a radiant straw hue, indicative of its vibrant character. The nose is a harmonious symphony of white peach, Meyer lemon, and a whisper of saline minerality, hallmark traits of the Rías Baixas terroir. On the palate, it delivers a precise balance of zesty acidity and a subtly creamy texture, underscored by notes of green apple and a hint of honeysuckle. The finish is crisp and enduring, with a refreshing saline edge that speaks to its coastal origins. An exemplary expression of Albariño, showcasing both varietal purity and regional typicity.
